BASED IN NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, WE STRIVE TO MAKE BOLD AND IMPORTANT WORK FROM OUR REGION FOR NATIONAL AUDIENCES.

WE HAVE PRODUCED OVER FIFTY DIFFERENT PRODUCTIONS ACROSS EUROPE, MOST RECENTLY THE UPSCALING OF GERRY AND SEWELL FROM LAUREL’S, WHITLEY BAY TO NEWCASTLE THEATRE ROYAL, THEN TO LONDON’S ALDWYCH THEATRE.

EASTLAKE PRODUCTIONS ARE CURRENTLY WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NEWCASTLE THEATRE ROYAL. WE ARE CONSULTANT PRODUCERS ON THE OPEN DOOR PROGRAMME, WHICH STRIVES TO SUPPORT NEW AND DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL WORK AND PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACTORS, WRITERS, ARTISTS, DESIGNERS AND MAKERS FROM THE REGION.
Meet Our Team
JAMIE EASTLAKE - PRODUCER
Producing
Jamie has ran Eastlake Productions for the last eight years. In that time he has produced work all across Europe with over fifty different productions. He started producing work at a young age taking shows to Edinburgh once he turned 18. Before the pandemic he worked as Live Theatre's Associate Producer.

Directing
Jamie started to direct work from an early age and studied Theatre Studies at Rose Bruford College.
His credits include Gerry and Sewell by Jamie Eastlake (Aldwych Theatre, Newcastle Theatre Royal, Live Theatre, Laurel’s), The Artful Dodgers by Jamie Eastlake and John Hickman (WIP - National Theatre Studio, 2024), Ghosts of Metroland by Reece Connolly (Live Theatre, 2023) and Antichristmas by Reece Connolly, Laurels, 2022.

Writing​
Credits include Gerry and Sewell: A Purely Belter Adventure (Aldwych Theatre 2026, , Newcastle Theatre Royal 2024, Live Theatre 2023, Laurel’s 2022), Monkey's Blood (Laurel's, 2023, Vault Festival, 2019), The Mountain Bluebird (Courtyard Theatre, 2015).

JAY ROBINSON - EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Jay is an actor and writer from the North East. After graduating with an LLB (Hons) from Newcastle University, he went on to study Defence, Development & Diplomacy at Durham, a path that deepened his understanding of how people and communities navigate systems not always built for them. He later trained in acting at Newcastle Theatre Royal’s Project A, where he developed his practice and deepened his connection to the region’s creative community.
Jay’s writing often explores ideas of home and belonging in the place he grew up, from personal essays on his Substack, Jaydream Believer, to contributions for Radge magazine. Alongside his creative work, he continues to build his practice across stage and screen. He is delighted to be joining the team as Executive Assistant to Jamie Eastlake.

ROSIE BOWDEN - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Rosie works as a director, producer and facilitator across North East venues like Alphabetti Theatre, Newcastle Theatre Royal and Live Theatre, as well as with her own company, Rosy Cheek.
​
Rosie was the Associate Director on Gerry and Sewell at Newcastle Theatre Royal. Following this, Rosie joined Eastlake Productions in January 2025, working creatively and administratively on the development of projects and was Associate Director when Gerry and Sewell transferred to the Aldwych Theatre. Other credits include Supernova by Molly Barnes-Tate (Live Theatre, 2025) Where did all the magpies go? by Holly Readshaw (The Customs House, 2023) and Soapbox Racer by Ben Schwarz (Alphabetti Theatre, 2023). Roșie creates cabaret events and young people's work (Lasses and FLOCK) under the name Rosy Cheek. These are affordable, accessible events that celebrate the talent in the region, and bring people together. She also co-runs The Girls, Theys and Slays choir with Maya Torres.

OLIVER DOWLING - ASSOCIATE CREATIVE PRODUCER

Oliver has 12 years of experience working in London's West End, covering several roles at the Dominion and Aldwych Theatres. Alongside this, he has writing and producing credits, including his play Good Cop Bad Cop at the Leicester Square Theatre and The Offensive comedy podcast, which he initially co-created.
After joining Eastlake Productions in January 2026, Oliver served as Executive Producer for Gerry & Sewell's West End transfer to The Aldwych Theatre.
Despite his painfully Southern background, he is a lifelong Newcastle United fan. He lives in North London with his fiancee and 2 cats, Saka and Keegan.

CANDICE MILLER - ASSOCIATE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
​
Candice grew up in Jersey before heading to the mainland to train in Musical Theatre at CPA Studios, later completing her third year at the London School of Musical Theatre and finishing her degree with Guildhall School of Acting. She dove headfirst into Front of House at the Dominion Theatre and quickly transitioned into a management role overseeing logistics, HR, team development, and the launch of multiple West End productions across six busy years, implementing new strategies and processes to help streamline the department.
She joined the Executive Producing team for Gerry & Sewell’s Aldwych transfer in 2026 and now works with Eastlake Productions, starting up their London Office as an Associate Business Development Manager.
