JAY ROBINSON

Jay is an actor and writer from the North East. After graduating with an LLB (Hons) from Newcastle University, he went on to study Defence, Development & Diplomacy at Durham, a path that deepened his understanding of how people and communities navigate systems not always built for them. He later trained in acting at Newcastle Theatre Royal’s Project A, where he developed his practice and deepened his connection to the region’s creative community.

Jay’s writing often explores ideas of home and belonging in the place he grew up, from personal essays on his Substack, Jaydream Believer, to contributions for Radge magazine. Alongside his creative work, he continues to build his practice across stage and screen. He is delighted to be part of the team as Executive Assistant to Jamie Eastlake.
